These booking terms and conditions apply to all confirmed bookings on or after 30th August 2022 and supersede all previous versions.

GoGalicia terms and conditions are amended occasionally. When making a booking please read and understand the terms and conditions that apply at the time of booking.

We recommend you print a copy of these terms for future reference.

1. these terms

  • These are the terms and conditions which are applicable to your booking.
  • Please read these terms carefully before you submit your booking to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide the booking to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.
  • To make it easier to read these terms and conditions, there are certain definitions which we use:
  • “Guest” refers to you and each person staying at the Property with you under your booking
  • “Us” or “We” refers to GoGalicia
  • “Property” or “Properties” refers to the holiday property you book through us.
  • “Property Manager” refers to representative who will be your point of contact throughout your stay at the Property; and
  • “You” refers to the lead person making a booking through us.

1.4 When the Guest makes a booking and pays the deposit to GoGalicia, the Guest is confirming that you and every Guest understands, agrees, and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, particularly section 13 headed “Limitation of Liabilities and Legal”.

2. information about us and how to contact us

2.1 GoGalicia is the trading name of MAXI MLM Holdings SL, a company registered in Spain. Our Universal Entity Code: 8785-7071-8611-2798// VAT Number (CIF) B15985807 and our registered address is at 11 Estrada de Roo, Roo de Abaixo, Outes, Galicia, Spain 15287 and shall be referred to as “we”, “us” or “our” in these terms and conditions. Our website is www.gogalicia.com and shall be referred to as “Website”.

2.2 You can contact GoGalicia by telephoning our Villa Manager on +34 657 288 781 or by writing to us at gogalicia@maximlmholdings.com.

2.3 If we must contact you, we will do so by telephone, email, or the postal address you provided to us with your booking.

3. contract and booking

3.1 These terms and conditions are exclusive to bookings made through GoGalicia website and do not form part of any bookings made through our booking agents, nor are they transferable to any bookings made through our booking agents.

3.2 Our acceptance of your booking will take place via email acceptance, at which point a contract will come into existence between GoGalicia and the Guest.

3.3 If GoGalicia are unable to accept your booking, we will inform you of this by email and will refund your deposit for the booking if you have already paid one. This might be because the Property is unavailable, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, or because we have identified an error in the price.

3.4 Once a booking is confirmed by GoGalicia it cannot be changed by the Guest, unless agreed by GoGalicia. If GoGalicia agree to make requested changes to the Guests booking (for example, changing the dates of your holiday within 30 days of your arrival date) the Guest will be required to pay £50.00 per change.

3.5 Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 18 years of age.

3.6 Any disruptive gatherings regardless of size are prohibited, due to the location. Group bookings for stag and hen occasions may not be allowed unless special arrangements are made.

3.7 GoGalicia reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.

4. booking deposits, balance payments and damage deposits

4.1 When making a booking the Guest will be required to pay a deposit of 15% of the total holiday accommodation cost within 48 hours of receiving booking confirmation. This is refundable until 21 days before arrival.

4.2 If the Guest makes a booking more than 21 days before the holiday date the Guest will be required to pay a deposit when making the booking and the remaining balance will be due no later than 21 days before the holiday is due to start.

4.3 If the Guest makes a booking within 21 days of the start of the holiday the Guest will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking.

4.4 Upon paying the balance of the booking, the Guest agrees to the deposit becoming non-refundable.

4.5 If the balance of the booking is not received by the due date, this is classed as a cancellation by the Guest. The Guest will be notified that the booking has been cancelled, and the deposit will be refunded.

4.6 A damage deposit of 150 Euros must be paid by the Guest on or prior to arrival at the Property. An additional damage deposit of 100 Euros will be payable if the Guest is bringing a pet to the Property, please refer to GoGalicia’s Pet Policy in section 9 for more information.

4.7 The damage deposit may be paid by cash or bank transfer. The Guest shall be provided with a receipt for the damage deposit.

4.8 The Property shall be thoroughly inspected on the Guests departure and if no damage deductions are applicable, The Guests damage deposit bond will be returned via bank transfer within 2 working days.

5. if gogalicia are unable to make the property available

5.1 In the unlikely event that GoGalicia cannot make the Property available to the Guest’s booking, GoGalicia will arrange a full refund to the Guest. GoGalicia will not be responsible for any compensation or losses (direct or indirect) as a consequence of such an event.

6. guest cancellations

6.1 If the Guest cancels prior to the holiday arrival date the Guest may be due a partial refund from GoGalicia.

6.2 The refund will depend on the amount of notice the Guest gives GoGalicia before the arrival date and will be calculated as follows:

  1. Cancellations made 22 + days before arrival will receive 100% refund of any balance and deposit paid.
  2. Cancellations made 15-21 days before arrival will receive an 85% refund of the total accommodation cost minus 15% booking deposit.
  3. Cancellations made 8-14 days before arrival will receive 50% refund of the total accommodation cost minus 15% booking deposit.
  4. Cancellations made 0-7 days before arrival will receive 0% refund of the total accommodation cost and 0% of the booking deposit. GoGalicia will endeavour to fill your cancelled booking, in the event we are able to do so, we will refund the total accommodation cost minus 15% booking deposit.

6.3 If a refund is due GoGalicia will aim to return the applicable amount within 7-10 working days of cancellation.

  • We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to a cancellation.
  • Act responsibly and carefully whilst at the Property, abiding by any property specific house rules and leave the Property, and all things in or at it, in the same state of repair and cleanliness as at the start of your stay.Take full responsibility for their safety and the safety of any children staying at or visiting the Property.

7. guest’s responsibilities

7.1 You will ensure that you and all Guests shall:

  1. Act responsibly and carefully whilst at the Property, abiding by any property specific house rules and leave the Property, and all things in or at it, in the same state of repair and cleanliness as at the start of your stay.
  2. Take full responsibility for their safety and the safety of any children staying at or visiting the Property.
  3. Be responsible for the safety and security of yourselves and your children at all times, and shall not leave children without adult supervision especially in relation to use of the swimming pool.
  4. Report to the Property Manager any damage or breakages made during your occupancy and pay for damage.
  5. Not smoke inside the Property nor allow anyone else to smoke inside the Property.
  6. Not allow more than the maximum number of people to stay at the Property as stated on the GoGalicia Website.
  7. At all times comply with any applicable laws and local or Government guidance, and ensure that no Guest or their guests (if allowed at the Property) or pets (if allowed at the Property) do anything which is illegal, or may cause unreasonable damage, noise, behaviour or disturbance.
  8. Not enter the Property before the stated arrival date and time and will leave the Property before the stated departure date and time.
  9. Treat people with respect and not act in a way which is abusive, violent, destructive, menacing, or harassing towards the Property Manager or any member of our team, any member of the community in which the Property is situated, or any of our Employees, Directors, Consultants or other party acting on our behalf.
  10. To ensure the outside of the Property is kept clean and free from rubbish.
  11. Secure the Property (including all windows and doors) whenever leaving the Property.

7.2 GoGalicia will be entitled to make a reasonable charge where Guests have failed to comply with these responsibilities and such charges will be deducted from the damage deposit. In serious cases, Guests may be asked to leave the Property early without any compensation or refund.

8. our responsibilities

    • GoGalicia will ensure that:
  • The Property is cleaned and ready for Guests by the stated arrival date and time.
  • Suitable arrangements are made for Guests to access the Property.
  • We treat all Guests with respect and not act in a way which is abusive, violent, destructive, menacing, or harassing towards any Guest at their Property.
  • Our Property Manager can be easily contacted (at reasonable times) or will provide Guests with an alternative first point of contact should the Guests have any concerns or queries during the stay.
  • We, and the Property, comply with all applicable laws and regulations (including health and safety regulations).
  • Adequate liability insurance is in place in respect of the Guests’ stay.
  • All Guests will have exclusive access to the Property for the duration of the stay (although all Guests will allow us or our representatives, access to the Property if reasonably required).

9. pet policy

9.1 Small to medium sized dogs are allowed at Casa Roo and require an additional damage deposit of 100 Euros.

9.2 With the exception of registered assistance dogs, strictly no pets are allowed in Casa Piloto.

9.3 There is a limit of two pets allowed at Casa Roo.

9.4 You must notify GoGalicia of the intended presence of any assistance dogs, with evidence of registration, prior to making a booking.

9.5 Pets other than dogs may be allowed at Casa Roo at our discretion. This must be approved prior to making a booking and can be arranged by contacting GoGalicia by email or telephone.

  • The following terms apply to any pets that have been approved to stay at a Property by GoGalicia:
  1. Pets must be under strict control at all times while in or at the Property.
  2. Any indoor or outdoor fouling must be cleared up without delay.
  3. The pet owner must bring the pet’s bed, basket or crate for the pet to sleep in.
  4. Dogs must not be left alone in or at the Property or elsewhere at any time.
  5. Pets must not lie on beds or furnishings, and hair must be cleared up before departing.
  6. Pet owners must ensure that their pets are free from parasites and fleas before they occupy the Property. Failure to do so may incur subsequent charges.
  7. Young dogs (e.g. puppies less than 6 months’ old) must be declared to GoGalicia at the time of booking and authorised by GoGalicia.
  8. The Guest will be liable for any damage caused by any Guests’ pets. Any damage is to be reported to the Property Manager immediately. Any additional cleaning required, that may incur an additional charge, will be at our discretion.

9.7 If the Guests breach these terms, we or the Property Manager may notify the Guest of breached terms and may cancel the booking and ask that the Guests leave the Property before the end of the holiday period without compensation, or that they pay an additional reasonable charge.

9.8 If any Guest has an allergy to dogs, please be aware that we cannot guarantee that a dog has not stayed in a particular Property. GoGalicia cannot accept responsibility for any suffering which may occur as a result of such animals having been present in a Property.

10. property facilities and services

10.1 GoGalicia have compiled the information on our Website as accurately as possible. However, facilities may be altered or withdrawn for reasons outside of our control, in which case GoGalicia cannot accept responsibility.

10.2 Confirmation should be requested prior to booking if there is any detail or facility that is important to the Guest. When the Guest makes a booking, the Guest accepts that minor differences between text and photographs on our Website and the actual Property may arise.

  • No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection or television service.
  • We or our representatives reserve the right to enter the Property at any time to undertake essential maintenance or for inspection purposes.
  • If any Property keys issued to the Guest are not returned at the end of the stay, then the cost of replacement will be charged to the Guest.

10.6 Check in is from 4pm unless otherwise agreed and Guests are required to vacate the Property by 11.30pm on the day of departure. This allows the Property to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for incoming guests.

10.7 Onsite parking for vehicles is provided at the Property but the Guest accepts that parking is entirely at the Guests own risk and GoGalicia shall not accept any liability for any loss or damage to the Guests vehicle.

11. complaints procedure

11.1 If the Guest has any complaints concerning either Property, the matter should be taken up with the Property Manager. They will do their best to resolve your complaint, where possible. It is important to raise any complaint while you are still at the Property. Any complaints not reported to the Property Manager at the time and only reported after the Guests have returned from holiday will not be considered by GoGalicia.

13. limitation of liabilities and legal – please pay particular attention to this section

13.1 We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable skill and care, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen.

13.2 GoGalicia does not exclude or limit in any way our liability to the Guest where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our Employees, agents or subcontractors, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for breach of your legal rights in relation to your booking.

13.3 GoGalicia are not liable for business losses. We only allow bookings at the Properties for domestic and private use. If the Guest stays at the Properties for any commercial or business purpose GoGalicia will have no liability to the Guest for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

13.4 If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest will continue in force. Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

13.5 Any dispute, claim or other matter which may arise in relation to the Guests booking shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the Guest agrees that any dispute will be dealt with exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
